Tuscan Inlays

The jewels in this line are inspired by the age-old inlay patterns. The Cathedral of Siena represents a masterpiece of this technique, with its fifty six inlays which decorate the floor and walls. The inlays in white Luni marble and Prato green marble have particularly influenced these creations, like the Baptistery of Saint John and the facade of Santa Maria Novella. The geometry of the forms become decoration, creating antique motifs but with a modern and innovative twist.

Silk Guild

The Silk Guild, an old Florentine corporation, gathered silk weavers, goldsmiths and gold thread makers together to work on producing luxurious products: materials woven with gold thread, garlands in gold and silver filigree, fine wire gauze with gemstones and pearls for ladies head-dresses. The jewels in this line use a silk technique which gives the metal a characteristic matte finish, recalling the old tradition in both form and craftsmanship.

Santa Maria
del Fiore

This collection was inspired in particular by the motifs of the facade of Giotto's bell tower and the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. The latter, despite being late nineteenth century, traces the motifs of the most ancient Sienese and Florentine tradition.
